Jiayin Jenny Zheng is a skilled Chinese-English interpreter with native/near-native fluency in both Mandarin and English. She’s a certified court interpreter and conference interpreter with experience in hundreds of court cases, ranging from straightforward hearings to complex trials. Jenny has also provided her interpreting services at high-profile business meetings and conferences across the southern U.S.

Jenny holds a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, where she sharpened her skills after studying at Shanghai International Studies University. She also has a dual degree in Finance and Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, which gives her a solid grasp of financial and technical topics in her work.

Education

Jiayin “Jenny” Zheng graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance with a minor in Accounting, alongside earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Actuarial Mathematics. Her tenure at UT was marked by prestigious recognitions, including being named a Watson Wyatt Scholar, Towers Perrin Actuarial Scholar, Marcus Leon Strum Scholar, and receiving University Honors, among others. Following her undergraduate studies, Jenny pursued UN-EU joint professional diploma training in Conference Interpreting at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU). After completing a rigorous year of training, she returned to the United States and transitioned into the Advanced-Entry program for a Masters of Conference Interpreting at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS). Jenny successfully obtained her Master's degree in Conference Interpreting from MIIS, further solidifying her expertise in the field.
